If you have received a DOA unit, or if you have a broken unit, you may send it back to the address below for repairs or replacement. Before returning please contact [email protected] with a description of the issue.

If you are shipping a return from within Canada then expedited or express post are the best services. For the USA, USPS first class mail is the most economical option which offers tracking info and is the preferred method. If shipping from the USA or internationally, please indicate clearly on the customs form that it is a unit being returned to manufacturer for repair. Please also note any tracking information and send it via email.

IMPORTANT: Pack the unit in a box (ie not just in a bag/envelope) and use sufficient packing material to prevent further damage to the unit from shipping.

Please send repairs to the following address:

The Montreal Assembly
Attn: Scott Monk
307-160 Saint Viateur Est
Montreal, Quebec
H2T1A8, Canada

Units that are DOA or suffer other failures from manufacturing defects will be repaired free of charge. Most small wear and tear issues are also usually repaired without fees for parts or labor but we may request payment for shipping fees in such cases. Extreme or catastrophic damage may incur some charge for the parts but this can usually be accurately estimated via email before you send us the unit (ie no surprises).

Units damaged by incorrect powering, attempted modifications or improper use will not be covered under warranty and may be subject to repair fees.

Orders may be cancelled so long as they have not yet been shipped. After an item is shipped it cannot be recalled by us, however you may still return it if unopened and we will refund the original purchase price once it arrives back in our shop. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
